Explaining why is my job: influencing people to make
the right decisions based on an appreciation of the law and the technology.
As of August 1, 2008, I shall take up a position as Commissioner within
the CRTC, the Canadian
federal telecommunications and broadcasting regulator, for a term of five
years.
I may still have occasion to post essays and opinion pieces
here, but the need to write proposals every few months has disappeared.
